Landmann USA 32910: Good Looks Inside and Out
I’m really happy with my purchase of the Landmann USA 32910 Smoky Mountain Vertical Electric Smoker, 32-Inch. It works very well when I make the family’s favorite smoke salmon. I also like getting to make the gang’s favorite brisket recipe. My work buddies come over every once in a while for a beer and I make the favorite electricsmoker recipe starting the night before.
What I really liked about the Landmann Smoker
- Good Looking Finish
I got the one with the nice sharp looking black finish, but I’m not sure if they offer the 32910 Smoky Mountain in any other finish than this one. My wife and I just love how it looks – it even gives me some bragging rights whenever my friends are around. It’s not only good for cooking it is also good for show.
- Large Cooking Capacity
This electric smoker has a pretty huge cooking capacity. It has four racks and you can feed it a total of 15 pounds of meat at one time. That’s a pretty huge cooking capacity if you ask me. It’s even more than enough meat for my friends when they come over for beer nights.
- Wheels at the Bottom
This Landmann electric smoker is pretty big and it is just as heavy as it looks. You don’t want to mess around and try to lift this piece of cooking equipment. The seller’s web page where I found it on the Internet says that it weighs 81 pounds – I guess that’s a pretty accurate estimate. Good thing this is one of those smokers that come with a good set of wheels at the bottom. Pushing it is hard enough so don’t try lifting this big block of steel.
- LCD Display and Push Button Controls
The LCD display is an added convenience especially for people like me who don’t want to mess with complicated electronics. I don’t particularly care how things work, all I care about is that they do work. That’s why I like this built-in display – it’s uncomplicated. I can also say the same about the controls, which is something I really appreciate.

This Landmann smoker is something that my wife and I really like and absolutely enjoy. I have used it for quite some time now I and I can point out a few deficiencies. First off, the cord isn’t that long. It’s only around three feet long and that’s just not going to work if you’re smoking food outdoors. The instructions say not to use an extension but heck I use one anyway – problem solved. I just wish the designers include a longer cord with their next model.
The other downside is the small water pan that came with the unit. You can’t use that for longer smoking times. I just used my old but significantly larger pan that fits right in nicely. Other than these issues I still think the Landmann USA 32910 Smoky Mountain Vertical Electric Smoker, 32-Inchis one of the best electric smokers out there.

The landmann smoky mountain 32 inch vertical electric smoker sets the standard for slow smoked bbq. Ideal for smokers of all skill levels, from beginners to master chefs. Simple to use; plug in the smoker, set the temperature and timer with the built in lcd display push button control panel, load your food and sit back. The smoker does the work for you, making it easy to wow your guests with delicious smoked meats, such as turkey, brisket, sausage, venison and pork. The insulated cooking chamber and doors have a large smoking area and the patented easy access two drawer system gives you access to the water pan, wood chip box and grease pan. Smoker interior has four chrome plated steel cooking grates with 15 pound meat capacity per cooking grate for a total 768 square inch cooking area. The 800 watt stainless steel heating element allows a heating temperature range of 100 -275 degrees. The adjustable damper vent has a plastic guard for safety. Drawers house an aluminized steel water pan, a steel wood chip box with removable lid and a galvanized steel grease pan. The cooking chamber has a magnetic door closure and large handles make access to door and drawers easy. A meat temperature probe is provided with a temperature range up to 275 degrees.
